Wellness to Workforce™ (W2W™) is a structured career pathway that guides youth and young adults from stability and wellness to paid work experience, pre-apprenticeships, and long-term employment. W2W™ blends trauma-informed support, peer mentorship, professional skills coaching, and workplace exposure to help participants build emotional resilience, workplace competence, and financial confidence
Participants engage in:
-
Trauma-informed career readiness training — workplace expectations, communication, professionalism.
-
Pre-Apprenticeships — structured industry-aligned training that prepares young people for registered apprenticeships or employer pathways.
-
Paid experiential learning — internships and paid work assignments with local employers or in ECFW’s partner network.
-
Connection to career pathways — including community college, employer partnerships, and apprenticeship programs that lead to stable careers.
W2W™ is designed for youth and young adults ages 16–24, including those who are justice-involved, disconnected from school, or facing barriers to employment. Participants do not need a perfect past — they bring motivation and readiness to change. This pathway not only supports economic mobility but also reinforces positive identity development, reduces recidivism, and strengthens community stability.
